As of January 1, 2018, our subscription prices will be exclusive of VAT (Value Added Tax). Any applicable VAT will be charged on top of the subscription prices listed on the website. Whether VAT applies to your purchase depends on the country you’re based in. You will see the total amount payable inclusive of VAT after you select your country at checkout, before actually being charged. If your country does not impose VAT on electronic goods, your ICMIZER subscription price stays the same. The reason for this change derives from the local requirements in many countries that have recently introduced VAT on electronic goods. We have borne the cost of VAT from 2012 up until now, but regrettably this pricing model is no longer viable. In light of these evolving market conditions, many software vendors have adopted or are adopting the same change in their pricing policies. The change affects all payments made on or after January 1, 2018, including both newly purchased subscriptions and recurring payments for existing subscriptions purchased in 2017 or earlier. If you would like to take advantage of current VAT-inclusive pricing, consider buying or extending your subscription while it’s still 2017.
